Green Whale was born from entrepreneurial experiences. As the founders of Homerr, we’ve walked the path from pitch to exit ourselves. We know what it really takes to build, scale, internationalize, get funded and to succeed.
That’s why we started this fund in collaboration with the RVO: to empower founders with more than just capital. We combine funding with guidance, network and strategic input exactly when it matters most.
Our fund totals €2,000,000. We typically invest €50,000 to €200,000 in the first round and reserve capital for follow-on investments.
We invest in SmartTech startups that combine exceptional scaling potential with meaningful impact. We partner with laser-focused founders who are relentlessly dedicated to their vision, while maintaining a deep commitment to positive change for society and the environment.
Our sweet spot: Pre-seed and early seed companies with proven business traction, recurring revenue streams, and complementary founding teams. We look for Dutch-based startups with a clear growth trajectory that haven't yet raised institutional or VC funding. If you're building the future responsibly, we want to build it with you.
